The first sub-event was held on 10th February 2010 until 12th February 2010 at coop and near the coop area. This sub-event is to fund raise for our class for the event on April. The sub-event is named Carwash and Hari berkasih sayang. It’s involving the whole class of Semester 6 A where it’s been divided by 2 groups. One group is for the carwash and the other for the Hari Berkasih Sayang. The head of the program for the carwash is Amirul Nazreen while Hari Berkasih Sayang is Asilah and Faris.
On the hari berkasih sayang, the item that been sold is brownies, chocolate, teddy bears, love mugs, lollypop, balloon and flowers. The range price for this item is between RM 3 to RM 7. While for the carwash, the range price for the car is RM 6 and the motorcycle is RM 3. The car cleaning item was provided by Fara using the class collection. While for the Hari Berkasih Sayang, the item was provided by fara aqilah especially the brownies. She provided the brownies for the 3 days of sale where she said each day she provides 3 brasses of brownies.
On the first day, the event was started at 9.00 am until 6.00 pm. We’ve got to washed 40 cars and 10 motorcycles for the whole day. What the interesting part on this first day is they got to washed TNC car and also washing the crew of production members cars that come to had a shooting at unisel . Besides, they got to washed celebrities cars too such as Fasha Sanda. She came to the Hari Berkasih Sayang booth to buy a brownies, chocolate and balloon. The privileges for the buyers at Hari Berkasih Sayang is they can make a special delivery for the lecturer and the students. Besides that, who have buy many item at hari berkasih Sayang will get a free flowers card. The collection for this first day of the event is very good where we got RM573.20
On the second day, the event not went very well for the carwash while hari berkasih Sayang, its went just the same on the first day. The sales is just okay and on that day we’ve got only wash 3 cars and 2 motorcycles. The event was started at 8.30 am until 10.30 am then we take a break for the class and continue the event at 3.30 pm until 6.00 pm. The collection on this day is not much where they only got RM 70.
And on the last day of the first sub-event is much better than the day before for the carwash where they had wash 6 cars and 4 motorcycles. While for the Hari Berkasih Sayang, the sales is less then the day before. The collection of this day is more than RM 100.
The good things that we had on these 3 days of event is the team works among our classmate where most of our classmate got involved in succeeding the event. Besides that, the collection for these 3 days was over our expecting amount where we got to collect RM 2550 where we only expected to collect only RM 1000. Everybody was satisfied with this event including the lecturer. Other than that, the brownies that was provided by Fara Aqila was one of the hot selling item for the 3 days of Hari Berkasih Sayang event. She said she was so satisfied and happy on the sales of the brownies where its become the hot selling of the days.And most of all, we are very glad that the event went smoothly on these 3 days even we have to bear with the hot weather and the rain. Besides, the commitment of our class member is very good even there is some of them that not give a hand on succeeding the event. Lastly, the head of the program wish all of the classmate of Semester 6 A good job and keep up the attitude.
